Sunny Leone’s film gets an ‘A’ Certificate
Hyderabad: Sunny Leone’s Tollywood debut Current Theega has her playing a teacher, and also has a song featured on her. And, that song has got into trouble with the censor board.
According to the films producer, the members of the censor board have seen the film and have expressed concern about the song.
Apparently, the censor board members enjoyed the movie and appreciated the societal values in the film. And then they said that if not for Sunny’s item song, the film would have got a clean “U” certificate.
Since the audience has been expecting Sunny’s song, producer Vishnu Manchu decided to keep the song in and let the movie be certified ‘A’. The film is an action comedy and stars Manchu Manoj and Rakul Preet Singh, who play the lead characters under the direction of G. Nageswara Reddy.
Jagapathi Babu plays an important character in the movie, which is a remake of a Tamil super hit film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. The films music has been composed by Achu.
