Mumbai: Ranveer Singh, who did whatever was required to get into the skin of his character in Ram-Leela, has plans to go full throttle even for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. Ranveer is expected to learn the Marathi dialect, horse riding and we hear that he’ll go bald too.
The actor has also ensured that he has completed all his endorsement assignments before he starts shooting for Bajirao Mastani next week.
A source said, “He has shot another ad very recently for a popular brand which will go on air soon. He has had many long chats with Bhansali over his bald look. He also has a representational image of the Bajirao look on his cellphone. He is game to go bald and has no second thoughts on that.”
However, Shaad Ali’s film, Kill Dil, which is releasing next month on November 14, will soon kick start its round of promotions and city tours. The source adds, “Everyone knows how strict Bhansali is when it comes to guarding the look of his characters.
Ranveer too doesn’t want to step out for Kill Dil promotions wearing a bald look. He is contemplating what to do now for the time being. He could go bald and come out wearing a cap of a scarf, or he could make use of some prosthetics to ensure Kill Dil doesn’t miss out on his presence.” Ranveer’s spokesperson didn’t respond to our query.
