Sea of humanity at Jodeghat
Sea of public attended Komaram Bheem’s 74th death anniversary
JODEGHAT (ADILABAD): The interior Jodeghat village ensconced in dense forests and hills, which was once considered a Naxal bastion, witnessed a sea of public during Komaram Bheem’s 74th death anniversary on Wednesday.
It is estimated that nearly 15,000 tribals and non-tribals attended Bheem’s death anniversary programme on Wednesday after the state government recognised it as a state festival and Chief Minister K. Chandra-sekhar Rao himself landed at Jodeghat.
This is for the first time the event was conducted in a grand manner in separate Telangana. Despite security threat, the chief minister landed at Jodeghat village as he had promised to do so earlier.
