“Voice of Mayors” conference did not include any Indian mayor

Hyderabad: The much hyped “Voice of Mayors” conference did not include any Indian mayor. Let alone of other cities, even Hyderabad Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain was not part of the conference for reasons unknown.
While issues of Barcelona and Johannesburg were discussed in the conference, Hyderabad was left out of the agenda.
However, the mayors of Berlin, Iran and Johannesburg had a separate interaction with the TS IT minister who was accompanied by Mr Majid Hussain.
The mayor of Johannesburg mainly focused on shelters for all. Discussions on IT, logistics, tourism and commerce also figured. The Mayor of Mashhad in Iran, Mr Solat, meanwhile requested the IT minister to take the initiative to launch a separate flight from Hyderabad to Tehran and Mashhad in Iran.
The Hyderabad mayor offered to hold skill and tourism development programmes with mayors of other countries with the active participation of the Telangana State government.
