Chandrababu Naidu says he had warned KCR about power crisis

He alleged that Mr Rao never tried to resolve the power crisis
Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the power crisis was not his fault as he had cautioned Telangana state CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao about the crisis before the state was divided.
He mentioned that by consulting the Centre five times, he had resolved the power crisis in AP and further, is giving round-the-clock power. He alleged that Mr Rao never tried to resolve the power crisis with the help of the Union government or any other measures.
The Telugu Desam is the main Opposition in Telangana state, Mr Naidu said. He alleged that unable to digest TD’s popularity, Mr Rao is trying to suppress the TD through baseless allegations. He announced that the TD will try to reunite the Telugu community of both states in the future.
Mentioning the LED bulbs scheme, Mr Naidu said that the AP government is planning to save 500 MW of power through the scheme and appealed to the public to cooperate with the government.
He lamented that 7,200 MW of power generation was halted due to gas scarcity and added that he is trying to restore gas-based power generation through naphtha to help gas dependent industries.
He added that soon people would get gas supply to their houses, shops and industries through integrated pipelines from the gas grid.
