Brad Pitt's 'Fury' to be dubbed 'Fauji' in Hindi as tribute to SRK's 1988 TV show
The film will release on October 31st in India
Mumbai: The much-awaited Brad Pitt-starrer ‘Fury', will be dubbed in Hindi as ‘Fauji’, according to reports. The dubbed title was inspired by Shah Rukh Khan’s hit TV show in 1988 that went by the same name.
The film will release worldwide on October 17th, but it will hit screens on October 31st in India to avoid proximity to Shah Rukh’s big Diwali release ‘Happy New Year’.
The film’s distributors in India decided to dub the film in Hindi as it features one of Hollywood’s biggest names, Brad Pitt who plays the role of an army sergeant.
The Hindi dubbed title was cropped up as a tribute to SRK who also essayed the role of an army officer on the TV show.
The film also stars Shia Labeouf, and its trailer has received rave reviews internationally.
