So here’s the story behind the real-life drama that unfolded on the sets of Laut Aao Trisha. Our sources inform us that actress Shrishti Maheshwari, who had to enact a scene in which she is inebriated, actually came to the sets in noticeably “high spirits”. Apparently, the actress had quite a bit of alcohol in her bid to make the scene look authentic.
When we quizzed Shrishti about the incident, she admitted that she was inspired by Shah Rukh Khan, who got drunk for a scene in Devdas. “The scene required me to get drunk because I come to know about my mother’s alleged affair. The worst part was that the scene was to be shot at noon on a barren plot of land and the heat was at its peak. When I woke up in the morning, I actually drank some alcohol instead of my regular cup of milk! I was in high spirits by the time I reached the sets, but what pleased me was that I gave a good shot. The sad part is that it was a 15-hour shift and all I wanted was to sleep off the hangover!” Shrishti said.

We hear the rapper’s bout of ill health continues and that music directors Sachin-Jigar have been roped in for this week’s episode of India’s Raw Star.
