AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa's bail petition hearing today

As a precautionary measure, police have clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144

Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court will on Tuesday hear the bail petition of former Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa, who has been remanded to judicial custody in the disproportionate assets case since September 27.

The petition will come up for hearing on Tuesday morning. As a precautionary measure, the city police have clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code on the Karnataka High Court and the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison premises, where Ms Jayalalithaa has been lodged.
