Hyderabad: A special mobile app has been designed for the 11th World Metropolis Congress that kicks off in the city on Monday. The app will provide information access and enhanced interaction between the participants.
Ahmed Babu, special commissioner, GHMC said “The mobile app was designed mainly for the participants. The content and the functionalities of the app would streamline processes, eliminate disruption while encourage interaction amongst parties. 4G services will be made available around the Metropolis World Congress venue at HICC.”
Different subjects pertaining to the metropolitan cities across the world would come up for discussion during the meet. They include smart cities, green buildings, youth engagement, satellite cities and managing city services related to waste, water, roads and sanitation.
The Metropolis Congress also has specific agenda on issues such as women and green buildings and some cities like Barcelona, Mexico, Seoul and Sao Paulo would demonstrate their initiatives.
