Mumbai: According to a report in a leading daily, the film shoot of the Amitabh Bachchan-Dhanush starrer ‘Shamitabh’ has come to a halt due to an abrupt change in Mumbai’s weather. A couple of days ago, the city was subjected to heavy rains that destroyed one of the film’s sets.
The R Balki-directed film will see a number of cameos by big names including Rekha, and Rohit Shetty. According to the report the team was to shoot an awards-ceremony sequence in Mumbai, but the shoot has been re-scheduled due to the unexpected weather.
The report also stated that the entire sequence will now have to be reworked and a new set will have to be built for the shoot. ‘Shamitabh’ also marks the debut of Kamal Haasan’s youngest daughter Akshara.
