36 villages in Kadapa to get NTR Sujala

State will be implementing the programme as a movement
Kapada: Social welfare minister Ravela Kishorebabu on Saturday stated that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was implementing all the welfare schemes promised in the election manifesto despite facing a financial crisis.Participating in the Janmabhoomi and Mana Vooru programmes at Rayachoti and Kamalapuram mandals in Kadapa district, the minister said the government was paying Rs30 crore per month as pensions for nearly 2.24 lakh beneficiaries in the district as part of its election promises.
He said that NTR Sujala water scheme was implemented in 36 villages out of 203, which were affected by fluoride content in the district.Taking a call from Prime Minister Modi’s Swatchcha Bharat Abhiyan, the minister said the state was implementing the programme as a movement.
He said the government would implement Janmabhoomi and Maa Vooru in the state for 14 days. Under the programmes, Aadhaar cards would be given to those who don’t have them. He said the government would rectify mistakes in Rajiv Aarogyasri cards.
