Hyderabad: Director Ram Gopal Varma may not have a very festive time ahead at least for a few days to come.

The director has released the first look of an upcoming film Savitri, which is touted to be a teenage love story. And besides the fact that many are claiming the poster is downright vulgar, the film’s name has already been registered by another filmmaker Neelima Tirumalasetti for her upcoming film.

Tirumalasetti had announced that she would be producing a film with Nara Rohit and the film will be directed by Pavan Sadineni of Prema Ishq Kaadhal fame. Talking to DC, Neelima claims that she was disturbed and saddened after seeing the posters from RGV’s film.

“I was shocked when I saw the posters of RGV’s film. I chose the title for my family entertainer and RGV’s posters with the same title had skin showing. I was disturbed because I never expected this even in my wildest dreams.

“We have raised the issue. I received a call from RGV’s office saying that they would pull down the posters and change the title. I am hoping they keep their word,” Neelima said.
