Mumbai: Rekha will finally be seen in an Amitabh Bachchan-starrer. The veteran Bollywood actress, who is making her Bollywood comeback with Supernani, will be seen in a cameo in Shamitabh. However, Rekha, who will share screen space with Dhanush in the R. Balki directed film, might not share screen space with Amitabh himself.
It has been more than three decades since the duo was seen together, in Yash Chopra’s Silsila (1981). Dhanush shared the picture a couple of days ago on his social media page, with the caption, “LOOK who I’m sharing screen space with in Shamitabh. The one and only REKHA JI !! #beautyforever.” Shamitabh also marks the acting debut of Kamal Haasan’s youngest daughter, Akshara. The film is slated to release on February 6, 2015.
