First day and second day collection of 'Bang Bang'

In two days the film reached a milestone figure of 51.62 crore

Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif's ‘Bang Bang’ has raced past the 50 crore collection mark in two days. According to the makers, the film made 24.08 crore on the second day to take the total collection to 51.62 crore. ‘Bang Bang’ on day one had blasted its way into top 5 openers of all time as it made 27.54 crore on its opening day.

The film's opening marked Hrithik Roshan’s biggest opening of his career and Katrina Kaif now has three movies in the top 5 openers of all time.

The film directed by Siddharth Anand, is being appreciated widely by audiences for its never-seen-before action sequences, Hrithik and Katrina's stunning chemistry, super-hit music, Hrithik's dancing and a pacy story. The film is a masala, family entertainer. ‘Bang Bang’ was set to become a rage as it was touted to be the hottest film of 2014.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, ‘Bang Bang’ has been directed by Siddharth Anand. The film, which is being called the best action film that Bollywood has ever made, recorded a drop of only 13 percent on day two, a normal drop considering its release day - October 2 - was a national holiday which helped the film set a new box office record. Trade pundits are very excited about ‘Bang Bang’ numbers as they expect a huge weekend from the film.
