Xiaomi’s chartered plane with goods has departed, 100,000 Mi3 expected
Xiaomi, the budget smartphone brand which took the country by a storm, had promised a separate chartered plane which will be filled with Mi stock for India.
Well, the plane has reportedly taken off from China and would land here late evening. The picture below is a snapshot of the chartered plane filled with Mi goods leaving from the China airport.
According to Reuters, Xiaomi will be catering to the Indian consumers for the festive season of Diwali. The expected handset would comprise of Mi3 handsets, and according to a report, there will be 100,000 Mi 3 handsets available for disposal.
Is this the surprise what Flipkart was talking about on their Mi home page?
Flipkart and Xiaomi are not holding a sale for any Mi product on 7th of October, because China is celebrating their National Holiday Week from 1st-7th October.
Flipkart and Xiaomi seem to be planning a mega sale for the festive season and there is no confirmation about which and how many devices will be placed on the site. Also, we are yet to confirm about discounts, offers and freebies that Xiaomi will give out to its customers.
