Beware: Your iOS 8 could be leaking data
Before you download a keyboard app on your iOS 8 devices, think twice!
Whenever you download a network-enabled keyboard on your fully upgraded Apple device, and grant ‘full access’, you basically give the developer of the keyboard, all right to record anything you type. In order to provide features like input predictions, such apps save your data, data from task managers, e-wallets, etc.
Whenever you download such an app, it prompts: “Allow Full Access for [app name] Keyboards? Full access allows the developer of this keyboard to transmit anything you type, including things you have previously typed with this keyboard. This could include sensitive information such as your credit card number or street address.”
Therefore until you receive the necessary updates, be very careful about the data you grant the apps an access to.
