Ministers told to visit districts
Hyderabad: AP ministers have been told by CM Naidu not to stay put in Hyderabad but to go to their districts to attend the Janmabhoomi-Maa Vooru programme and to interact with the people.
However, the marching orders were issued with a rider that they can come to Hyderabad if it is “necessary.” The Janmabhoomi programme is scheduled to be held till October 20. Mr Naidu himself would be visiting all the 13 districts during the Janmabhoomi campaign in the next 18 days.
Sources said the ministers stay in their respective districts will also ensure that social security pensions are given only to eligible candidates The ministers have been asked to keep a close watch on the pension scheme.
Also, the ministers presence in the district would ensure that more number of crowds will be mobilized during Chandrababu Naidu's visit to their respective districts as part of Janmabhoomi campaign.
The State government is spending Rs 50 crore for Janmabhoomi programme. Of the total, Rs 1 crore each for 13 districts have been allocated and the remaining for medical and health camps to be conducted for the citizens. Even veterinary camps have been planned.
