Visakhapatnam: State officials and public representatives organised a rally on Janma Bhoomi-Maa Vuru at Beach Road on Thursday. Thimsa dande, Tappeta gullu were performed during the rally. Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu garlanded NTR’s statue at Beach Road and paid the tributes.
Later, they released the JB broachers. The schoolchildren and officials who arrived at the venue at 6 am had wait for the arrival of Mr Ganta Srinivasa Rao for more than an hour.
