Mumbai: We hear the team of The Shaukeens had a tough time shooting a particular sequence at the Mauritius airport. A source from the team reveals, “There is a sequence where the three old men arrive at the Mauritius airport. The airport authorities had given permission to shoot only for three hours.
There were two units shooting that day and the director had to be at both places. The unit managed to make it on time, but unfortunately, that day a flight landed earlier than usual causing the authorities to stop the shoot. However, it was crucial for the sequence to be competed that day. After a lot of requests, the shoot resumed.”
The delay added a touch of authenticity to the scene. “Because instead of extras, there were real passengers who became a part of the background. They are the ones who had just alighted from that flight,” the unit member added.
