‘Poor to get quality medicine’
Government would purchase 150 ambulances to the hospitals in 13 districts
Rajampet: Health minister Kamineni Sreenivas has said that all the government hospitals in the state would be developed by providing advanced equipment. Laying foundation stone for the construction of Trauma Care building at Rajamepet APVP hospital here on Tuesday, the minister observed government hospitals have been part of poor people, who prefer to visit even for chronic diseases.
“We are planning to equip the government hospital with quality medical equipment as poor visit them,” the health minister stated and added that he was personally inspecting the hospitals of the state to improve quality medicare. He assured to improve the facilities at Rajampet hospital.
The government would purchase 150 ambulances to the hospitals in 13 districts, Mr Sreenivas announced and recalled the system of medical and health was badly damaged during the Congress regime and the TD-led government has been taking all necessary measures to introduce reforms in the hospitals.
The minister had made it clear that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was firm on developing the state in all aspects. Rajampet legislator Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy and other officials accompanied the minister.
