Secunderabad Cantonment Board to issue unique household numbers

Hyderabad: From October 1, the Secunderabad Cantonment Board will start issuing unique numbers to each house. So far, addresses in the SCB area were referred by plot numbers. The new unique number would include the ward number and the street number.

An SCB senior official said, “A private agency called Fast Forward Technology has been granted the project. It will take up a survey from Wednesday and start issuing house numbers according to the ward number and the street number. The agency would also seek details of water connection and the property tax being paid by the property owner.”
