Rural service counselling venue shifted from Gandhi Hospital

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has shifted the venue for the rural service counselling, which is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, from Gandhi Hospital to the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare at Vengal Raonagar.

This decision was taken after an announcement by the medicos that they would protest the rural service clause at the counselling venue. Junior doctors at the Gandhi Hospital had announced they would hold a protest at the hospital on Wednesday. Anticipating trouble, the medical education decided to shift the venue.
