THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala State Beverages Corporation has declined the request of liquor suppliers to enhance the rates. The new rate contracts are coming into effect from Wednesday. Most of the suppliers had quoted a higher rate than the existing rates. However, the KSBC board has declined the request. While some companies are introducing a few new brands, some unpopular brands are being withdrawn, said KSBC sources.
