CM Chandrababu Naidu to launch Janmabhoomi in Vijayawada, VMC gets ready

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch enhanced old age pension scheme in Vijayawada on October 2. The CM will participate in several programmes, including a Janmabhoomi rally.
Mr Naidu will reach Vijayawada at 10.30 am and participate in Janmabhoomi padayatra that will cover 1.5 km. Neeruchettu, Badi Pilostondi, Polam pilustondi and Swatcha Bharat programmes will also be organised in the city.
Collector M Raghunandana Rao conducted a meeting and directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for CM’s visit.
Elsewhere, mayor Koneru Sreedhar and municipal commissioner C. Hari Kiran asked corporators to ensure the success of Janmabhoomi programme in the city.
In a special meeting arranged in the council hall on Tuesday, they requested the corporators to help draw up a vision plan for each division.
The mayor asked the corporators to give wide publicity to the government schemes and ensure that every eligible person benefits from them.
