Ramya's anthology of poems, Ival Malaghayo sold like hot cakes at the secretariat

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The secretariat employees had two welcome visitors on Tuesday a blind couple, Ramya Parambath and K. C. Shyju of Payyannur. They came all the way from Payyannur to Thiruvananthapuram to meet Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, but without fixing an appointment and so could not meet him. But they were not disappointed, for Ramya’s anthology of poems, ‘Ival Malaghayo’ (Is she an angel’) sold like hot cakes at the secretariat. Ramya, 26, a B.Ed holder, and Shyju, with post-graduate diploma in computer applications, hope to meet Mr Chandy on Friday with all their certificates and seek his help to get suitable jobs.
