Mumbai: Chetan Bhagat had a spot of trouble on Tuesday when he tweeted about a book launch event in Mumbai. His guest was actress Kriti Sanon and this is how Bhagat chose to publicise the event. “@kritisanon will read from the book. She looks like this. Still need excuse to come :)?”
The announcement didn’t go down really well with the social networks. Facebook user Somya Dubey wrote: “This is how we objectify women. Is looks the only quality a woman can have? Can we never think beyond her looks?” Bhagat then took the tweet down.
