Modi’s Madison Square Garden speech goes viral on the Web
New Delhi: Union information and broadcasting ministry has gone all out to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Madison Square Garden speech a success on the social media.
For the first time ever the ministry’s YouTube channel was able to live stream from out of India.
The Prime Minister’s address from the Madison Square Garden has already been viewed by over 60,000 people.
Sources said that the high number of views are despite the fact that the speech was broadcast and re-telecast by a majority of news channels across the country.
Moreover, more than 50,000 Facebook users like posts related to the Prime Minister on official pages of I&B ministry.
Sources said that special arrangements have also been made to obtain videos from Doordarshan.
All events attended and speeches delivered by the Prime Minister during the visit are available on the ministry’s YouTube channel.
Sources said that the exercise has established the primacy of I&B ministry to take brand Modi forward and to enhance the outreach and effectiveness of information flow as desired by the Prime Minister.
