Tirupati: District collector Siddharth Jain called upon the officials to ensure the much publicised Janmabhoomi programme of the state government to get underway from October 2 is executed successfully.
The Collector, who held a review with the officials of the district administration at the collectorate in Chittoor on Monday, made a power-point presentation to the officials and briefed them.
He told the officials to ensure that the Janmabhoomi is successfully executed right from the village level to the district headquarters level and asked the officials to create widespread awareness about the programme at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, joint collector Narayana Bharat Gupta who took part in the Grievances Day meet at the collectorate received 137 petitions and representations from the public. He forwarded the representations to the concerned departments.
