Hyderabad: Ram Gopal Varma’s association with the Manchu family is going strong. The director has made films with Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu and now is all set to do a short film featuring Lakshmi Manchu’s feet.
“I often get exciting cinematic ideas but I abandon them because I can’t stretch those ideas beyond a few minutes. Then some time ago, it struck me that a short film was the best outlet for such kind of creative endeavours.
“Though a little late in the day, the moment this idea dawned upon me I approached Lakshmi Manchu. She listened to my idea and also agreed to be a part of my short film,” states RGV in a press release.
This will be RGV’s first short film, which he has titled, A day in the life of Lakshmi Manchu’s feet. He is planning to release the short film online, on Lakshmi Manchu’s birthday, that falls on October 8.
