George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin said "I do" for a second time Monday, celebrating a civil wedding ceremony in Venice's City Hall on the Grand Canal, greeted by hundreds of well-wishers who waited hours for a glimpse of the newlyweds.
Today, September 30th People magazine and Hello magazine have both released official photographs from the wedding bearing the happy couple on the cover.
The couple tied the knot earlier in a private ceremony attended by Hollywood celebrity friends and family in a luxury hotel. They followed up with a required civil procedure, which to be legally recognized must take place on a site designated by the city administration.
According to the magazine, George who was Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor for the longest time said, (being married) "feels pretty damn great."
Alamuddin's mother Baria told PEOPLE magazine,"The wedding was so unbelievably special, it was legendary. These three days – the friends, the families, the atmosphere, everything – will stay with me all the rest of my life."
The blushing bride can be seen wearing a stunning custom made Oscar de la Renta French lace wedding gown. The off- shoulder gown was hand-embroidered with pearls and diamanté accents and a full circular train.
Clooney’s black tuxedo was created by Giorgio Armani as part of his ‘Made to Measure’ collection.
The magazines also give a sneak peek into the lavish reception which was attended by a host of A-listers including Matt Damon, Bill Murray, U2 singer Bono and George's best friend Rande Gerber and his model wife Cindy Crawford.
