KOCHI: The city is getting ready to receive cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. The co-owner of Kerala Blasters football team, Tendulkar, is in the city on Monday to unveil the jersey of the team. The function will be held at Hotel Crown Plaza at 3’o clock which will be attended by team members of the Kerala Blasters, co-owner Prasad Potluri and Kerala Football Association (KFA) president KMI Mather. The master blaster will arrive in the city by 2 pm. The theme song of the team will also be released in the function.
This is for the second time Tendulkar is visiting Kochi as the owner of Kerala Blasters.
The KFA has invited Greater Cochin Development Authority chairman N. Venugopal, MLAs from the district and district collector M.G Rajamanickam for a meeting with Tendulkar to discuss the revised Indian Super League schedule and to fix the new dates.
