Kavita Karkare has been admitted to Hinduja hospital in Mumbai

Mumbai: Kavita Karkare, widow of late Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkare has suffered brain hemorrhage and slipped into coma. She has been admitted to Hinduja hospital in Mahim, Mumbai.
"Kavita Karkare sustained a brain haemorrhage because of which she has been taken to Hinduja Hospital at Mahim on Saturday. Her condition is critical and she is in coma. Her treatment is underway," a police officer said.
Karkare was killed on the night of 26/11 near Cama Hospital, along with Additional Police Commissioner Ashok Kamte and senior police inspector Vijay Salaskar.
