Hyderabad: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a minor boy in the Kamkul village of Munipally in Medak district. She was found crying and bleeding by her family members. According to the Munipally police, the victim stays with her parents in Sangareddy. About a month ago, the victim accompanied her pregnant mother to her grandparents’ house in Kamkul village.
Late on Saturday evening, the victim, her cousin and other children from the village went to a nearby agricultural field to play. While they were playing, the accused, aged between 16 and 17 years, approached the girl. “He took her to an isolated place near a canal and raped her. The girl’s cousin, who noticed the victim going with the accused, alerted the family members. When they reached the crime scene, the victim was found bleeding.” said D. Ashok, SI.
