Hyderabad: Director Veerashankar’s upcoming film Mana Kurralle is based on how globalisation affects the society. “It is mainly aimed at the youth and how globalisation takes away village life, agriculture and other things. The software boom, real estate and many other problems have been shown in the film,” says Veerashankar. He adds that he is confident that the film will make an impact.
“The dialogues will be the highlight of the film,” he says. At a time when the industry is importing stories from other languages, Veerashankar feels that this is one story which has come from the society.
Arvind Krishna and Pragathi are playing the lead pair and artistes like Rao Ramesh and Krishnudu have been cast in important characters as well. Mana Kurralle is set for an October 17 release.
