Vijayawada’s delicacies sweep Naidu off his feet

CM said that research should be done on how such tasty dishes are produced

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that research should be taken up to understand how Vijayawada city and Krishna district can produce such incredibly tasty dishes.
Mr Naidu said that dishes like bandaru laddu and Halwa are popular around the world and everyone likes their taste. He said that Gongoora and Avakaaya pickles are very tasty and his father-in-law N.T. Rama Rao also used to consume them regularly. The city is also popular for horsegram dal soup (ulavacharu) and bobbatlu plays a dominant role in making fish and prawn tasty.
