Visakhapatnam: The RTC is making special arrangements during Dasara holidays. Vizag region will be plyning around 500 buses from various cities to clear the rush.All the educational institutions have announced Dasara holidays from September 28 and all the students are planning to move to other destinations.
The berths in trains moving towards Bhuvaneswar, Howrah, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Tirupati have already been booked and the passengers are unable to get even tatkal tickets and they are looking for other options.
As per the demand. the RTC has planned to ply around 500 buses to various destinations in Andhra Pradesh. RTC regional manager M. Jagadish Babu said, “We plan to ply around 200 buses to Rajahmundry and Kakinada and hundreds of buses between Hyderabad and Visakha-patnam. Some more special trips will be plied to Vijayawada for the Bhavani devotees. The charges will be 50 pc extra than normal rates.
