Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government has tentatively fixed the menu and price of the food items to be served through its NTR (Anna) canteens. One (single) idli, weighing 65 grams, will be offered for Re 1.
Along with the idli, a small cup of sambar will be served at the 35 Anna canteens that are to be launched in the first week of November. For lunch, sambar rice/lemon rice or curd rice, weighing 300 grams, will be priced at Rs 5. Dinner will comprise of two chapattis with curry.
The municipal administration minister said that they have decided the tentative prices and CM N. Chandrababu Naidu will take a final decision soon.
