Bendgate, an issue with the new iPhone 6 handsets, has been making big news this week. Apple’s latest flagships have been reportedly spotted bending with a few customers claiming that the product is below the quality mark. Apple gave its statement that only nine customers, as of now, have reported the issue.
In order to satisfy its customers about the quality of the product, Apple has released a video of the bend tests in its production factory. The phone goes through five tests, which includes 25Kg of pressure applied on the entire, phone, the center and the edges. Additionally, the iPhone also goes through a twist test, which twists the iPhone from both the sides for almost 8,000 times, to show that the product is built with quality. The video is released by Apple and hosted by Re/code. Apple had allowed a select few journalists into the labs to cover the tests.
