City’s most awaited player lands, signs autographs for fans

Mumbai: Former France international Nicolas Anelka –Mumbai City FC’s star player for Indian Super League (ISL) – arrived here on Friday morning. Team manager Peter Reid was present to receive him along with the technical and management staff.
The ISL team’s supporters also came to show their love for their favourite footballer. The airport was buzzing with chants of “Anelka! Anelka!” as soon as he stepped out of the terminal.
Anelka stopped outside to click a couple of pictures and sign some jerseys before leaving for the hotel.
