Nellore: BJP activists led by state general secretary Sannapareddi Suresh Reddy staged a protest before housing department office demanding action against those involved in poor construction of Indiramma houses at YSR Nagar in Nellore.
Mr Suresh Reddy demanded that the housing officials and the Collector announce a time-bound programme on completing the pending houses and correcting the defects in the construction.
“The collector should take departmental action against the officials involved in the poor construction of the houses and disclose the details of the probe report.
Bank loans should be waived for the houses hich are unfit for living,” Mr Suresh Reddy insisted.
He advised the administration to prepare a detailed action plan for providing water, roads, drains and other facilities in the YSR Nagar.
