The Xpose star is super excited about entering Big Boss house
Sonali Raut is the new contestant to enter Big Boss 8
Bigg Boss 8 contestant Sonali Raut, who debuted in the Himmesh Reshammiya film The Xpose, has been in the news for rejecting Hate Story 3 and apparently walking out of Kannada director S.K. Basheed’s shoot at the eleventh hour. Speaking to us just before she entered the BB house, Sonali said, “I’m super excited about BB and not nervous. I’ve watched all the seasons and love the show it’s not easy to win. My movie had just released when I was offered the show and my parents weren’t keen on me doing it, but let’s see what I experience.”
So who have been her favourite contestants from previous seasons of BB? “I liked Gauhar Khan. She was headstrong and classy,” Sonali says. “She is a senior; she was a model with my sister (Ujjwala).”
Of course, it is host Salman Khan who Sonali is most excited about interacting with. “I’m a big fan of Salman. He is a cool guy and one of the reasons I’m doing the show,” the actress says.
Which brings us to that hateful Hate Story 3 controversy! “My dates had already been committed to Bigg Boss,” Sonali says. “I want to do commercial movies, not too many bold roles with lovemaking scenes. I want to try different characters.”
