JEO reviews arrangements
With Brahmotsavam coming up tight security arrangements have been planned
Tirupati: Tirumala joint executive officer K.S. Srinivasa Raju reviewed the arrangements for the Brahmotsavam with the police and other government organisations here on Wednesday. Referring to huge turnout of devotees for the festival, he told police to provide tight security both at Tirupati and Tirumala.He told the municipal officials to keep the town clean and tidy especially in the bus stand and railway station areas. He advised the transport officials and traffic police to keep a tab on private vehicles transporting pilgrims from Tirupati to Tirumala as they may charge exorbitant rates.
The JEO also discussed with the police about the security arrangements made for first day of Brahmotsavam in view of CM’s visit and also for Garuda Seva. He said the two wheelers are completely restricted on ghat road from the early hours of September 30 till 2 pm on October 1.Municipal corporation revenue Officer Varma, RTO Prasad, RTC RM Maheshwara, deputy traffic manager Chengal Reddy, DSP Subbanna, TTD Transport GM Sesha Reddy, S.E. Sudhakar Rao, Health Officer Venkataramana, SE Electricals Venkateswarlu and VSO Tirupati Ravindra Reddy were present at the review meeting.
