Hyderabad: Madhushalini will be seen as Goddess Seetha in her next film Seethavalokanam. On Wednesday the film’s promo was launched and a trailer of the film was shown. The guests who attended the event appreciated Madhushalini’s look as Seetha.
Very few actresses have played Seetha’s character well enough to have been appreciated for it. In earlier days Anjali Devi gained popularity for the character and then Jayaprada and recently Nayanthara. And now it is Madhushalini’s turn.
“This is about the inner face of Seetha and a lot of work has been done to get information,” says director Venu.
Madhushalini says that she and Venu are good friends. “We wanted to do a Kuchipudi ballet and start this film. The credit goes to him as he has shown me very nicely in this new avatar,” she says.
