Hyderabad: The differences brewing between the managements of Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana tourism departments is creating deep seated hatred among employees of both the tourism departments as well as the tourism development corporations.
The issue over AP department not shifting to their new designated office at Masab Tank (as per the AP Reorganisation Act) is creating emotional and sentimental issues between the employees who were previously working under the same banner.
For the past three days, the managements and employees of both the sides have been at loggerheads and this has also disrupted work.
“The Telangana government will be celebrating Bathukamma festival from Wednesday and employees of both sides are unable to work due to the ongoing agitations for the past three days. The issue has become emotional among the AP employees who think that they are being driven out. It is the management of the AP department which is not shifting despite agreeing to shift on September 8,” said an insider.
