YSR Congress complains Lokesh’s intrusion

YSRC alleged that Lokesh is interfering and influencing the governance at various levels

Hyderabad: The YSR Congress has alleged that AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son has turned into an extra constitutional authority.

Hitting out at Lokesh, YSRC MLA G. Srikanth Reddy said on Monday that Lokesh has been interfering and influencing the governance at various levels.

He alleged that Mr Naidu has his own way of selling of the public sector units. “Naidu has issued G.O.s to weed out sugar factories from the public sector. He has constituted a committee with members who are very close to him. Two of them are owners of sugar factories, one in Andhra Pradesh and the other in Telangana. The third one represents a chartered accountancy firm, which is closely associated with the NTR Trust. The committee will give a report in favour of the closure or selling out as he had done in the past,” said Srikanth Reddy.

“Naidu has the dubious distinction of closing down 54 PSUs against the national figure of 84 in the process of disinvestment,” he said.
