Sreeram will contest next polls: Paritala Sunitha
Anantapur: Civil supplies minister Paritala Sunitha has announced that her son Paritala Sreeram would contest in the next general elections. The minister and her family members took part in the birthday celebrations of her son Paritala Sreeram at Venkatapuram in Ramagiri mandal in Anantapur on Monday. They paid floral tributes to Paritala Ravindra at his tomb in the village.
Speaking to media on the occasion, Ms Sunitha recalled that her son Sreeram had already worked in the recent elections.
Paritala Sreeram visited elementary school at Venkatapuram and celebr-ated his birth day in the presence of students. Anantapur Zilla Parishad chairperson D. Chaman Saheb presented a ring to Sreeram on the occasion.
It may be recalled that Mr Sreeram was booked for reportedly hatching a plan to eliminate a Congress leader a few months before the elections that gripped tension in the district.
However, he has been actively taking part in Dharmavaram, Rapthadu and Anantapur areas after TD voted to power. With the announcement of minister wanted to field her son in next polls, dissident group leaders are reportedly planning to give a feedback to the Chief Minister against Paritala group, sources said and pointed out that whether Sunitha sacrifice her seat or to prefer any other constituency to field him in the district.
