Eluru: The APSRTC introduced bus services from Eluru to Kukunuru village which was merged with West Godavari district. Eluru MP Maganti Babu inaugurated the bus service on Sunday.
Mr Babu said that the new service would be useful to people of Kukunuru, Velerupadu and other mandals to travel for Eluru. He said that the state government was paying special attention for solving the problems of Kukunuru, Velerupadu and seven villages of Burgampahad mandal and was creating ifrastructure facilities in these villages without politicizing the issues.
He said that the transportation facilities would be created in remote Agency villages, linking with Eluru. Later he along with government whip Chintamaneni Prabhakar inspected the RTC canteen. RTC deputy chief traffic manager S. Sudhakar, Eluru Depot manager K.Peddiraju and others were at present.
