MLAs of Mandals merged with Andhra Pradesh meet Governor

Bhadrachalam MLA Sunnam Rajaiah said that 40 per cent of his area went to AP

Khammam: The question of political representation in the mandals that were transferred to Andhra Pradesh has reached Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan. The three MLAs of Bhadrachalam, Aswaraopet and Pinapaka submitted a memorandum to the Governor requesting him to provide representation in both the Assembly houses to raise the problems of the people in those mandals.

Explaining the problem, Bhadrachalam MLA Sunnam Rajaiah said that 40 per cent of his area went to AP. “People are requesting us to represent their problems to AP as they elected us as their MLAs till 2019”, he said.
