Anything but Deputy CM for G Parameshwar: CM Siddaramaiah camp’s offer

Bengaluru : Will KPCC president Dr G. Parameshwar and his home grown camp of Congress leaders lower their sights and be prepared to accept the post of home minister instead of insisting that he will not settle for anything else than Deputy Chief Minister (DCM)?

Sources in the Congress party say that after the recent visit of AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh tot the state, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his loyalists are willing to make the KPCC chief home minister and also allow him to continue as party president though it may go against the Congress norm of ‘one man one post.’

It remains to be seen if Dr Parameshwar will accept this offer after stating that he will settle for nothing less that the deputy chief minister’s post.
