Raipur: In a ghastly incident, a tippler in a Chhattisgarh village stabbed his wife to death and then lay beside the body whole night by holding the knife with which he killed her, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place in the village of Nagori in Bilashpur district on Saturday.
Police recovered the body after arresting the accused, Deb Pratap Bargarh alias Rajendra, 42, following tip-off by local villagers early on Sunday morning, a police officer posted in Sarkonda police station said.
